大和薬品の米国現地法人DHD・USAが全米最大規模の展示会Supply Side West2013に出展しました（2013年11月12日～16日）。
DHD・USAは精製ナットウ菌培養物（NKCP）を展示し、新たな機能性食品原料を探していた多くの来場者からお問い合わせをいただきました。ラスベガスのベネチアンホテルにて開催された同展示会は、機能性食品関連の他に有機食材や化粧品などのメーカーも出展し、1,700以上の出展ブースを数えました。2012年に比べ参会者数は11％上昇、世界61ヶ国からの参会者が訪れ大変な盛会となりました。
大和薬品では、今後とも世界の市場に向けた展開を強化していく方針です。

Daiwa Pharmaceutical's U.S. subsidiary, DHD USA, exhibited at Supply Side West 2013, the largest exhibition of its kind in the U.S. (November 12–16, 2013).
DHD USA showcased purified natto bacteria culture (NKCP) and received inquiries from many visitors who were looking for new functional food ingredients. Held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, the exhibition featured not only functional food-related products but also manufacturers of organic ingredients and cosmetics, totaling over 1,700 booths. Compared to 2012, the number of attendees increased by 11%, with participants from 61 countries, making it a very successful event.
Daiwa Pharmaceutical plans to continue strengthening its expansion into global markets.
