本次大会时隔约6年再次在京都举办，邀请了来自日本、美国以及亚洲和大洋洲的11位医生和研究人员，展示了关于大和药品各种原料的广泛最新研究成果。除了双盲随机对照试验、小规模单组试验及病例报告的人体临床试验报告外，还进行了多项动物实验层面的前沿研究，会议内容非常充实。来自现场观众的反响也很热烈，有“非常有意义的大会”“重新认识到这是世界级的原料”等高度评价。

大和薬品は、2024年11月10日（日）に京都東急ホテル（京都）において「Daiwa International Workshop 2024」を開催しました。医師、薬剤師などの医療関係者、研究者を中心とする約300人の参加者が一堂に会し、大和薬品の手掛ける機能性原料に関する最新の研究成果が報告されました。国内だけでなく海外からの参加者も多く、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジア、オセアニアなど様々な地域から約160人が参加しました。
前回2018年までは「バイオブラン研究会」として、食品原料バイオブランに関する知見を共有する国際的な研究の場であった本大会ですが、今年からは議論の対象をNKCPや米ケフィランといった、大和薬品の製造する機能性原料全般に拡大したことにより、さらに多くの注目を集める催しとなりました。
約6年ぶりに京都での開催となった本大会では、日本、アメリカをはじめ、アジアやオセアニアから11人の医師や研究者が招聘され、大和薬品の各種原料について多岐にわたる最新の研究成果が発表されました。二重盲検ランダム化比較試験から小規模単群試験、症例報告にいたるまでのヒト臨床試験の報告に加えて、動物レベルでの先駆的な研究結果についても複数の発表があり、非常に充実した会となりました。来場者からの反響も大きく、「非常に有意義な大会だった」「世界規模の原料であることを再認識できた」などの高い評価を受けました。
