Awarded with “Rising Small and Medium Enterprises 300 in 2017”
Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was awarded with “Rising Small and Medium Enterprises 300 in 2017” by The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
This award was presented by The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan to selected outstanding efforts of small and medium enterprises throughout Japan which exerted leadership in various fields, including the development of innovative products, the creation of new services, active overseas expansion and market development, contribution to communities, and the revitalization of regional economies. This award consisted of three categories as follows; “Productivity Enhancement”, “Market Development”, and “Contribution in Human Resources Development”. The awarded enterprises were recognized as model examples. Daiwa was awarded in the category of “Market Development.” due to our active overseas market expansion.
METI held a commendation ceremony and exhibition on March 23, 2017 with the attendance of Mr. Seko, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and Director-General of The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency. Yasuo Nionomiya, President of Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. attended this ceremony.
Daiwa will continue its progress by expanding its business domestically and internationally.
