大和制药有限公司于2014年9月3~4日在香港“Vitafoods亚洲”展会上展出。“Vitafoods Asia”是针对亚洲地区的营养补充剂和功能性食品展，于香港亚洲世博会期间举办，今年约有200家公司参展。
大和药品主要展示了BioBran、NKCP和Kefiran的原创资料，收到了各种咨询。这是我们继去年之后的第二次展览，展位的访客人数比去年更多。在题为“纳豆杆菌产品对生活方式疾病患者血压和主观症状的影响”的企业演讲中，滋贺医科大学的市杉正人教授就NKCP的影响进行了讲座，吸引了众多参与者。

気になるからだ 鼻やのどにできる「頭頸部がん」
人体の鎖骨から上（頭とくび）の部分のうち、目と脳を除いた部分を「頭頸部（とうけいぶ）」と言います。その部分にできるがんが「頭頸部がん」で、わかりやすく言えば、口の中、鼻の奥、のどなどにできるがんの総称です。あらためて書くまでもなく、「呼吸する」「ものを食べる」「言葉を発する」という、人間の基本的な生命活動を司るところです。頭頸部がんの頻度は、すべてのがんの約5％で、およそ10万人中8人がかかるとされています。芸能人がのどのがんになったと公表して話題になることがありますね。
原因は、がんができる場所によっても異なりますが、タバコ、アルコール、ある種のウイルスなどが挙げられます。
治療は手術、放射線治療、抗がん剤などを組み合わせた「集学的治療」が行われます。顔を手術したり、のどを手術したりするので、がんを切除して、そのあとに大きな欠損が生じた場合は、体の他の場所から皮膚などを移植する手術も行われます。これらの治療法を、食事や発声などに及ぼす影響を考慮し、なおかつ患者さんの病状、年齢、体力、希望に応じて組み合わせる必要があります。
近年は放射線療法の技術が進歩し、がんに対してより効率的に放射線をあてることができるようになりました。新薬も登場し、治療成績が向上しています。

The part of the body above the collarbone (head and neck), excluding the eyes and brain, is called the 'head and neck.' Cancer that occurs in that area is called 'head and neck cancer,' and simply put, it's a general term for cancers that occur in the mouth, behind the nose, throat, and other areas. It goes without saying—it's the basic life activities responsible for human life, such as 'breathing,' 'eating,' and 'speaking.' The incidence of head and neck cancer is about 5% of all cancers, roughly 8 out of every 100,000 people. Sometimes celebrities announce that they have throat cancer, which becomes a topic of conversation.
The causes vary depending on where the cancer develops, but tobacco, alcohol, and certain viruses can also be cited.
Treatment involves a combination of surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, known as "multidisciplinary therapy." Since surgery on the face or throat is performed, surgery is performed to remove the cancer and then graft skin or other parts from other parts of the body if a large defect occurs. These treatments must be combined considering the effects on diet and vocal expression, and according to the patient's condition, age, physical strength, and wishes.
In recent years, advances in radiation therapy technology have made it possible to deliver radiation to cancer more efficiently. New drugs have also emerged, improving treatment outcomes.
