♪ 2009年8月，我们公司举办了“生物麸皮研究学会2009国际会议”。
2009年8月2日星期日，我们公司在东京的红阳大厅举办了“生物麸皮研究协会2009国际会议”。（支持单位：CMP日本株式会社、食品化学报业株式会社、健康产业报业株式会社、健康商业杂志株式会社。）我们的主要产品“生物麸皮研究”已在全球46个国家使用，发表了30多篇论文和50多次会议报告。会议上，来自日本、美国、斯洛伐克、泰国、印度尼西亚、澳大利亚和菲律宾的医生们做了临床报告。其中包括该产品开发者之一的Ghoneum博士。此外，360多名参与者聚集在一起，其中包括60多位来自海外的医生和研究人员。会议分为三部分举行，包括第1至3场。以下为每份报告的概述。

最新研究表明，MGN-3/Biobran是对抗癌症和感染，尤其是肝细胞癌和乙型肝炎的一种安全方法。该试验在越南进行，旨在评估Biobranc/MGN-3的疗效。因此，Biobrann/MGN-3被认定在治疗HCC和HBV方面具有潜在的有效性。
“生物白细胞激活NK细胞和树突状细胞”

我们在试管层面开展了一项关于生物布兰对人类DCS成熟调节作用的研究。为评估生物布兰的作用（生物布兰效应），在与适当细胞活性因子物质共给的试管中，分别在给药和未处理时，给予不同浓度的生物布兰。因此，生物布兰浓度越高，观察到的活性越明显。换句话说，有人提出生物布兰调控免疫细胞。
“高性能米糠营养补充剂对免疫系统的影响”

作为BRM4（BioBran疗法）综合研究策略的一部分，迈阿密大学开展的“高性能米糠补充剂对免疫系统功能的影响”研究预计将成为国际临床研究的典范。

“从免疫反应视角看丸山疫苗与生物麦片”

确实，在日本，随着人口老龄化的增加，老年人的癌症发病率不可避免地在上升。
据说患者通常需要10到20年，细胞内异常发生后才会发展到出现主观癌症症状的程度。事实上，症状出现时几乎总是太晚。免疫增强方面，有马鲁山疫苗，这是一种著名的经典免疫疗法。该疫苗已被35万名癌症患者接种，经过支持并被证明有效。研究发现马鲁山疫苗中的成分是阿拉伯甘露。
这种阿拉伯甘露糖链被认为能刺激T细胞（一种白细胞），并诱导与NK细胞的免疫共振。

肠易激综合征（IBS）的病理涉及多种因素，各种功能障碍被认为通过脑肠皮层发生。
近年来，研究发现胃肠黏膜微炎症和下消化道免疫异常是与肠易激综合征症状相关的机制之一。
Biobran 是从米麸中提取的阿拉伯诺克兰，据报道它具有多种生理活性，如抗炎和免疫调节作用。
本研究考察了Biobran在IBS患者中的治疗效果。该试验显示服用Biobran后IBS症状有所改善。Biobran的抗炎和免疫调节作用被认为对IBS患者有益。
“D-半乳糖胺在大鼠中用生物麸皮水解液抑制肝损伤的发生”

Biobran / MGN-3 通过将担子菌酶应用于米糠半纤维素获得，具有抗肿瘤和免疫激活等多种生理功能。另一方面，D-半伽沙胺（D-GaIN）给大鼠服用已知会引起肝损伤。
本研究探讨了MGN-3对D-Gain肝损伤的抑制作用。因此，在MGN-3小亚组中测量D-Gan施用后8小时的肝损伤指标时，肝损伤风险在统计上有所降低，表明先天免疫系统参与了小分子组抑制肝损伤的某些机制。

■ 综合医学最新信息 [43] 癌症治疗引起的口腔黏膜疾病
“我嘴巴发麻，吃不下喝水，”嘴巴肿胀，“尝不到食物味”——。
一些接受癌症治疗的人可能会与口炎或干燥症状作斗争。症状出现是因为化疗药物或放疗会影响口腔内的细胞。
口腔溃疡需要数周时间才能愈合，因此在此期间最好保持症状较轻。根据静冈县癌症中心的介绍，通过癌症治疗口腔溃疡护理的三大要点是：
（1）保持口腔清洁
（2）润湿口腔内侧
（3）显然是为了缓解疼痛。
为了缓解疼痛，（3）你使用医生开具的止痛药，但（1）和（2）主要关注自我护理。
刷牙时要小心，避免刺激黏膜，并通过频繁漱口保持口腔湿润。
主要的日常用品制造商销售合适的工具，如软刷牙刷、侧面温和的牙膏，以及滋润口干的喷雾。
还有书籍和网站介绍癌症患者的餐食菜单。让我们利用这些来提升生活质量。

こんにちは、メールマガジン担当の石原です。
夏も終わりに近づき、いよいよインフルエンザが流行する時期がやってきます。乾燥期には大気中の水分とウィルス自体が持っている水分が減って、空気中に浮遊しやすくなったり、飛散しやすくなったりします。うがい手洗いに十分注意して、しっかりと対策をしましょう。

当社は、2009年8月2日（日）、東京・コクヨホールにおいて「バイオブラン研究会2009年国際大会」を開催しました。（後援：ＣＭＰジャパン株式会社、株式会社食品化学新聞社、株式会社健康産業新聞社、株式会社ヘルスビジネスマガジン社）主要商品「バイオブラン」は、既に世界46カ国で使用され、30を超える論文に加え、50回以上の学会発表がなされていますが、今回の大会では、日本、アメリカをはじめ、スロバキア、タイ、インドネシア、オーストラリア、フィリピンの医師が臨床報告をしました。この中には、同商品の開発者の一人であるGhoneum(ゴーナム)博士も含まれています。 また、参加者も、海外から60人を超える医師や研究者などを含め、360人以上が集まりました。大会は、セッション1から3までの3部構成として行なわれました。それぞれの報告内容につきましては、以下にその概要を記します。
●セッション１
「免疫とがんについて―――最新研究成果の報告」
「MGN-３／バイオブラン：肝細胞がんおよびＢ型肝炎ウィルスに対抗する安全な方法およびその根拠となり得る機序」
・Mamdooh Ghoneum 氏（アメリカ UCLA／Drew医科大学教授）
(講演概要）
肝細胞がん（HCC）の発現率は途上国で過度に高く、HCC症例の50％以上がアジアで発生している。また、Ｂ型肝炎ウィルス（HBV）感染は、世界で発現頻度の最も高い重篤な肝臓感染症である。
最新の研究によると、MGN-３／バイオブランは、がんや感染、とくに肝細胞がんやＢ型肝炎に対抗する安全な方法であることが示唆されている。本試験は、バイオブラン/MGN-３の有効性を検討するため、ベトナムで臨床試験を実施した。その結果、バイオブラン/MGN-３は、HCCおよびHBVの治療において有用である可能性が結論づけられた。
「バイオブランによるNK細胞と樹状細胞の活性化」

（講演概要）
樹状細胞（DC）は、免疫細胞を調節する因子として重要な役割を有する。
試験管レベルにおける、ヒトDCの成熟に対するバイオブランの調節効果の研究を行った。バイオブランの効果を評価するため、適切な細胞活性因子によるDC成熟用物質を投与した場合と投与していない場合の試験管に、それぞれ濃度の異なるバイオブランを投与した。それによって、バイオブラン濃度が高くなればなるほど活性効果が認められた。すなわちバイオブランにより、免疫細胞の調節がなされることが示唆された。
「高機能米ぬか栄養サプリメントが免疫系に与える効果」

（講演概要）
BRM4（バイオブラン）の治療法に関する総合的な研究戦略で、マイアミ大学で実施される「高機能米ぬかサプリメントが免疫系の機能に与える効果」の試験に関する検討は、国際的な臨床研究に臨む際のモデルとなることが期待される。
この研究によって、免疫系の機能に与える影響が解明されれば、免疫調節作用が患者のQOL改善に必要な疾病において、BRM4の科学的評価は格段に向上するであろう。
「免疫応答から見た丸山ワクチンとバイオブラン」
・福生 吉裕 氏（財団法人博慈会老人病研究所所長）
（講演概要）
高齢化が進む日本において、否応なく高齢者のがん発生率が高くなっていることは確かである。
がんの自覚症状が出るまで成長するには、通常細胞内レベルでの異変が生じてから10年から20年を要するとされる。実際、自覚症状が出てからでは殆ど手遅れとなる。免疫力亢進については、古典的免疫療法として有名な丸山ワクチンがある。これまで35万人のがん患者さんに対して施行され支持され、有効な効果を与えてきた。丸山ワクチンの成分はアラビノマンナンであることが判明している。
このアラビノマンナン糖鎖は白血球の一種であるＴ細胞を刺激し、NK細胞との免疫共鳴をもたらすものと考えられる。
●セッション２
「抗炎症と免疫学―バイオブランの新分野での研究報告」
「バイオブランによる抗炎症、免疫調節作用が過敏性腸症候群におよぼす影響」
・神谷 武 氏（名古屋市立大学大学院講師）
（講演概要）
過敏性腸症候群（IBS）の病態には多くの因子が関与し、脳腸相関を介して種々の機能障害をきたすと考えられている。近年、消化管粘膜の微小炎症、下部消化管の免疫異常がIBS患者の症状に関係する一つのメカニズムであることが明らかになった。
バイオブランは、米ぬか由来のアラビノキシランで、これまでに抗炎症作用、免疫調節作用など様々な生理活性を有することが報告されている。
今回、IBS患者におけるバイオブランの治療効果について検討した。本試験により、バイオブラン摂取によりIBSの症状の改善が示された。バイオブランの抗炎症、免疫調節作用はIBS患者に有用であると考えられる。
「バイオブラン加水分解物のラットにおけるD-ガラクトサミン肝障害発症抑制作用」

（講演概要）
バイオブラン／MGN-３は米ぬかヘミセルロースに担子菌の酵素を作用させて得られたもので、抗腫瘍作用、免疫賦活作用など様々な生理機能を有する。一方、Ｄ－ガラクサミン（D-GaIN）をラットに投与すると肝障害を引き起こすことが知られている。
本研究では、MGN-３のD-GaIN肝障害の抑制作用について検討した。その結果、MGN-３低分子画分群で、D-GaIN投与８時間後に肝障害の指標となるものを測定したところ、統計学的に肝障害が低下し、低分子群の肝障害抑制機序の一部に自然免疫系の関与が示唆された。
「免疫老化の好転――エビデンスに基づいた抗加齢対策」
・Karriem H. Ali 氏（アメリカ Pharmacognosia 代表 CSO）
（講演概要）
老化進行に伴う機能減退の決定因子として免疫調節異常を指摘するエビデンスが、最近の科学文献に数多く報告されている。この調節異常は「免疫老化」と呼ばれる。
我々の研究や10年以上に及ぶ研究により、米ぬかアラビノキシラン（RBAC）は、安全で信頼性があり無毒性の免疫調節物質で、顕著な抗炎症特性を有することが明らかになっている。RBAC免疫調節物質による最適な免疫機能の回復は、「免疫老化」の破壊作用に対抗する。

「世界各国の医師による臨床報告とパネルディスカッション」
臨床報告では、以下の医師がバイオブランに関する最新の臨床報告を行ないました。

■統合医療新着情報【43】がん治療による口の粘膜障害
「口の中がヒリヒリして食事や飲み物が摂れない」「口の中が腫れぼったく感じる」「食べ物の味が分からない」――。
がん治療を受けていて、こうした口内炎や乾燥症状に困っている方がいるかと思います。抗がん剤や放射線治療が口の中の細胞に影響を及ぼすために症状が出てくるものです。
口内炎が治るまでには数週間単位の時間がかかるので、その間何とか症状を軽く済ませたいですね。静岡県立がんセンターによると、がん治療による口内炎のケアの３か条は
①口の中を清潔に保つこと
②口の中を湿らせること
③痛みを和らげること――だそうです。
③の「痛みを和らげる」ためには、医師から処方された痛み止めの薬を使いますが、①と②については、自分で行うケアが中心となります。
粘膜を刺激しないように注意深く歯磨きを行ったり、こまめなうがいで口の中を湿らせておくのです。
それに適したツールとして、毛をやわらかくした歯ブラシや刺激の少ない歯磨きペースト、乾燥した口の中を保湿するスプレーなどを大手日用品メーカーが市販しています。
また、がん患者向けに食事のメニューを紹介した本やウェブサイトもあります。これらを活用して、生活の質をよりよくしていきましょう。

On Sunday, August 2, 2009, our company held the "Bio Bran Research Association 2009 International Conference" at Kokuyo Hall in Tokyo. (Supported by: CMP Japan Co., Ltd., Food Chemical Newspaper Co., Ltd., Health Industry Newspaper Co., Ltd., Health Business Magazine Co., Ltd.) Our main product, "Bio Bran Research," is already used in 46 countries worldwide, with over 30 papers and more than 50 conference presentations. The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is excessively high in developing countries, with over 50% of HCC cases occurring in Asia. Additionally, hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is the most frequently occurring severe liver infection worldwide.
Recent studies suggest that MGN-3/Biobran is a safe method to combat cancer and infections, especially hepatocellular carcinoma and hepatitis B. This trial was conducted in Vietnam to evaluate the efficacy of Biobranc/MGN-3. As a result, Biobrann/MGN-3 was concluded to be potentially useful in treating HCC and HBV.
"Activation of NK Cells and Dendritic Cells by Bio-Blanc"

Dendritic cells (DCs) play an important role as factors regulating immune cells.
We conducted a study at the test tube level on the regulatory effect of biobran on the maturation of human DCs. To evaluate the effects of biobran (biobran effects), different concentrations of biobran were administered in test tubes administered with appropriate cytoactive factor substances, both when administered and when untreated. As a result, the higher the biobran concentration, the more active the effect was observed. In other words, it was suggested that biobran regulates immune cells.

As part of a comprehensive research strategy for BRM4 (BioBran therapy), the study of the "Effects of High-Performance Rice Bran Supplements on Immune System Function" conducted at the University of Miami is expected to serve as a model for international clinical research.
If this study clarifies its effects on immune system function, the scientific evaluation of BRM4 in diseases where immune regulation is necessary to improve patients' quality of life will be greatly enhanced.
"Maruyama Vaccine and Bio Bran from the Perspective of Immune Response"

It is true that in Japan, where the aging population is advancing, the cancer incidence among the elderly is inevitably rising.
It is said that it usually takes 10 to 20 years after intracellular abnormalities occur before the patient grows to the point of developing subjective cancer symptoms. In fact, by the time symptoms appear, it is almost always too late. For immune enhancement, there is the Maruyama vaccine, a well-known classical immunotherapy. It has been administered to 350,000 cancer patients, supported and proven effective. It has been found that the ingredient in the Maruyama vaccine is arabino-mannan.
This arabinomannan glycan is thought to stimulate T cells, a type of white blood cell, and induce immune resonance with NK cells.

Many factors are involved in the pathology of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and various functional disorders are thought to occur through the brain-gut cortex.
In recent years, it has been revealed that microinflammation of the gastrointestinal mucosa and immune abnormalities in the lower gastrointestinal tract are one mechanism related to IBS symptoms.
Biobran is arabinoxylan derived from rice bran, and it has been reported to possess various physiological activities such as anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects.
This study examined the therapeutic effects of Biobran in IBS patients. This trial demonstrated improvement in IBS symptoms after taking Biobran intake. The anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects of Biobran are considered useful for IBS patients.
"Suppression of Liver Damage Onset by D-Galactosamine in Rats with Bio-Bran Hydrolysate"

Biobran / MGN-3 is obtained by applying basidiomycete enzymes to rice bran hemicellulose, and possesses various physiological functions such as antitumor and immune-activating effects. On the other hand, administration of D-galaxamine (D-GaIN) to rats is known to cause liver damage.
This study investigated the inhibitory effect of MGN-3 on D-Gain liver injury. As a result, when measuring indicators of liver impairment 8 hours after D-Gain administration in the MGN-3 small subgroup, the risk of liver damage was statistically reduced, suggesting that the innate immune system is involved in some mechanisms that suppress liver injury in the small molecular group.

Recent scientific literature has reported numerous pieces of evidence pointing to immune regulatory abnormalities as determinants of functional decline associated with aging. This regulatory abnormality is called "immunoaging."
Our research and over ten years of research have revealed that rice bran arabinoxylane (RBAC) is a safe, reliable, and non-toxic immunomodulator with remarkable anti-inflammatory properties. The optimal restoration of immune function by RBAC immunomodulators counteracts the destructive effects of "immune aging."

"My mouth feels tingling and I can't eat or drink," "My mouth feels swollen," "I can't taste food"—.
Some people undergoing cancer treatment may be struggling with stomatitis or dryness symptoms. Symptoms appear because chemotherapy drugs or radiation therapy affect the cells inside the mouth.
It takes several weeks for mouth ulcers to heal, so during that time, it's best to keep the symptoms somewhat light. According to the Shizuoka Prefectural Cancer Center, the three main points for caring for mouth ulcers through cancer treatment are:
(1) Keep the inside of your mouth clean
(2) Moistening the inside of the mouth
(3) To relieve pain—apparently.
To relieve pain, (3) you use painkillers prescribed by your doctor, but for (1) and (2), the main focus is on self-care.
Brush your teeth carefully to avoid irritating the mucous membranes, and keep your mouth moist with frequent gargling.
Major daily goods manufacturers sell suitable tools such as toothbrushes with soft bristles, gentle toothpaste that is gentle on the side, and sprays to moisturize dry mouths.
There are also books and websites introducing meal menus for cancer patients. Let's make use of these to improve our quality of life.
