日本药学会第127届年会（由日本药学会主办）于3月28日星期三~3月30日星期五在富山市举行，期间我们就米糠水解米麸（HRB）的研究报告进行了展示。
该报告聚焦于HRB抑制肥大细胞激活（*），由爱知学院药学部古野忠英副教授领导的研究团队进行。
在本次报告中，发现了以下结果，表明HRB抑制肥大细胞的激活（具有抗炎作用）。

[14] 促进癌症控制的提案
三月，由医生和患者代表组织的“促进癌症对策意见交流会议”（主席=国家癌症中心所长柿江忠夫）于三月总结了建议。这些建议将反映在下财政年度基于《癌症基本法》制定的“抗癌对策推广计划”中。
建议涵盖六个领域：（1）癌症预防与早期发现，（2）癌症治疗，（3）医疗机构建设，（4）与癌症护理相关的咨询支持和信息提供，（5）癌症登记，以及（6）癌症研究，并附有现状分析和建议。
关于健康食品，第（4）条规定：“我们应持续收集和积累科学证据的信息，并广泛提供。”
另一方面，关于当前癌症护理，报告承认“负责手术的外科医生通常提供从门诊护理到化疗的各种服务”，并指出：“在努力让公众了解每位医生的专业能力的同时，专注于手术、放疗和化疗的医生应在治疗中合作”，呼吁推广团队医疗服务。
数据显示，45%的癌症患者使用某种形式的补充和替代医学（如健康补充剂），但医生目前很少尝试获取这些方法的信息。如果我们强调“各领域医生之间的合作”，那么我们希望考虑“整合医学”的视角，即包括补充和替代医学领域的专家。

◎米ぬか水解物(HRB)の抗炎症作用について研究成果を発表
日本薬学会第127回年会（主催：社団法人 日本薬学会）が3月28日(水) ～30（金）の3日間、富山市で開催され、ここで当社の米ぬか水解物HRB(hydrolyzed rice bran)に関する研究発表がありました。
発表はHRBによるマスト細胞(※)の活性化抑制に関するもので、愛知学院大学薬学部 古野忠秀助教授を中心とする研究グループにより発表されました。
今回の発表では、次のような結果が見出され、HRBによるマスト細胞の活性化抑制（抗炎症作用）によることが示唆されました。

マウスおよびラット由来のマスト細胞をHRBで前処理すると、抗原刺激に伴うマスト細胞の脱顆粒および炎症性サイトカイン産生(TNF-α)が濃度依存的に抑制された。

HRBはマスト細胞のシグナル伝達経路を抑制することにより、抗原刺激に伴う脱顆粒やサイトカイン産生を阻害することが示唆された。

【１４】がん対策推進への提言
「新しいがん対策の時代」に向けて、医師や患者の代表で作る「がん対策の推進に関する意見交換会」（座長＝垣添忠生・国立がんセンター総長）が3月に提言をまとめました。がん対策基本法に基づいて来年度に策定する「がん対策推進計画」に反映させるものです。
提言は①がんの予防・早期発見②がん医療③医療機関の整備④がん医療に関する相談支援および情報提供⑤がん登録⑥がん研究――の6項目について、現状分析と提言を行っています。
健康食品については④の中で「科学的根拠のある情報を継続的に収集・蓄積などし、幅広く情報提供していくべきである」としています。
一方、現状のがん医療について「手術を担当する医師が、外来診療から化学療法（抗がん剤）までを行っていることが多い」と認めた上で、「医師それぞれの専門性について国民の理解を得るように努めつつ、手術、放射線療法、化学療法の各々を専門的に行う医師が協力して治療にあたる体制とすべきである」とし、チーム医療の普及を求めています。
がん患者の45%が何らかの補完代替医療（健康食品など）を利用しているとのデータがある半面、医師はそれらに関してあまり情報を入手しようとしていないのが現状です。「各々を専門的に行う医師の協力」を掲げるのであれば、補完代替医療の専門家を加えた「統合医療」の視点もぜひ踏まえてもらいたいものです。

先日の能登半島地震による被災者の皆様には謹んでお見舞い申し上げます。
2004年の新潟県中越地震では自動車内に寝泊りした避難者といわゆる「エコノミークラス症候群」(静脈血栓塞栓症）との関連が話題になりました。
しかし、自動車内でなく、避難所でも身動きが取りづらい場合は同じように血栓ができやすくなりますので注意が必要です。
また、このような状況ではストレスにより不眠になりがちです。睡眠薬を使うと足の静脈を支える筋肉が緩み、血管が拡張することで血圧が下がるため、静脈血が心臓に戻らずに血液が滞ったり、寝返り回数が減ることにより、血栓ができやすくなりますので、あわせてご注意ください。
皆様からのご意見・ご感想をお待ちしています。

The 127th Annual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (hosted by the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan) was held in Toyama City over three days from Wednesday, March 28 ~ Friday, March 30, where our research presentation on HRB (hydrolyzed rice bran) from rice bran was presented.
The presentation focused on the suppression of mast cell activation by HRB (*), and was presented by a research group led by Associate Professor Tadahide Furuno of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Aichi Gakuin University.
In this presentation, the following results were found, suggesting that HRB inhibits mast cell activation (anti-inflammatory effect).

Pretreatment of mast cells derived from mice and rats with HRB suppressed degranulation and inflammatory cytokine production (TNF-α) in mast cells induced by antigen stimulation in a concentration-dependent manner.

HRB has been suggested to inhibit degranulation and cytokine production associated with antigen stimulation by suppressing mast cell signaling pathways.

"Information on Functional Food Ingredients Based on Traditional Japanese Ingredients" (G608)

[14] Proposals for Promoting Cancer Control
In March, the "Opinion Exchange Meeting on Promoting Cancer Countermeasures," organized by representatives of doctors and patients, (Chair = Tadao Kakizoe, President of the National Cancer Center), compiled its recommendations in March. These proposals will be reflected in the "Cancer Countermeasures Promotion Plan" to be formulated next fiscal year based on the Basic Act on Cancer Control.
The recommendations cover six areas: (1) cancer prevention and early detection, (2) cancer treatment, (3) development of medical institutions, (4) consultation support and information provision related to cancer care, (5) cancer registry, and (6) cancer research, with current status analysis and recommendations provided.
Regarding health foods, section (4) states, "We should continuously collect and accumulate scientifically evidenced information and provide it broadly."
On the other hand, regarding current cancer care, it acknowledges that "surgeons in charge of surgery often provide everything from outpatient care to chemotherapy (chemotherapy)," and stated, "While striving to gain public understanding of each doctor's expertise, doctors specializing in surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy should cooperate in treatment," calling for the spread of team-based medical care.
While data shows that 45% of cancer patients use some form of complementary and alternative medicine (such as health supplements), doctors are currently trying little to obtain information about these methods. If we emphasize "cooperation among physicians specializing in each role," we would like to consider the perspective of "integrative medicine," which includes experts in complementary and alternative medicine.

We would like to express our heartfelt sympathies to all the victims of the recent Noto Peninsula earthquake.
During the 2004 Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake, the connection between evacuees sleeping in cars and the so-called "Economy Class Syndrome" (venous thromboembolism) became a topic of discussion.
However, if you have difficulty moving in a shelter rather than in a car, you can also be more likely to develop blood clots, so caution is needed.
Also, stress in such situations can easily lead to insomnia. When using sleeping pills, the muscles supporting the leg veins relax and blood vessels dilate, lowering blood pressure. This can cause venous blood to stagnate without returning to the heart, and reducing the number of times you turn over in bed, making blood clots more likely. Please be careful.
