★ 我们正在出版修订版的《Bioblanc Journal》第二版。
公司计划于三月出版去年出版的关于米糠阿拉伯氧基衍生物的学术论文集《BioBran/MGN-3：基础与替代与补充疗法的应用》（Iyaku Shuppan）修订版第二版。（价格含税为5250日元）
这本合集是十多年积累证据的集大成，由于第一版比预期更受欢迎，人们纷纷争相再版，最终促成了本次出版。
我们的主力产品Bio Brann（稻糠阿拉伯氧基衍生物，品牌名“Lentin Plus”）在国内外都保持着强烈人气，尤其在海外非常受欢迎，已在39个国家销售。这也受其可靠产品的影响，其制造工艺在全球九个国家（包括日本、美国和欧盟）均拥有专利。

[13] 化疗还是圣诞树？
你熟悉槲寄生吗？它之所以叫槲寄生，是因为它寄生（寄生）在松树和冷杉树上。它“寄生并生长在某棵树上”的外观类似于人类癌症，这也是它被用于癌症治疗的原因。
虽然在日本并不常见，但它在欧洲，尤其是德国，是癌症常用的成分。
关于槲寄生的实用性长期以来一直存在争论，但自去年年底以来，英国学术期刊《BMJ》及其网站上的激烈争论再次酝酿。

◎バイオブラン論文集改訂第２版を刊行します。
同社は、昨年出版した米ぬかアラビノキシラン誘導体に関する学術論文集「BioBran／ＭＧＮ―３ 基礎と代替・補完療法への応用」（医薬出版）について、３月に改訂第２版を刊行予定です。（価格は、税込み５，２５０円）
この論文集は10年余りを経て蓄積されたエビデンスの集大成であり、初版が予想以上に好評であったことなどから、増版が急がれており、このたびの刊行に至ったものです。
主力商品であるバイオブラン（米ぬかアラビノキシラン誘導体・商品名「レンチンプラス」）については、国内外で根強い人気を保っておりますが、とくに海外での人気が強く、販売されている国はすでに３９を数えております。これは、日本をはじめアメリカ、EUなど世界９カ国で製法特許を取得した確かな商品であることも影響しています。
これまでにバイオブランの論文は20超、学会発表は50超となり、大学や医療機関などから高い評価を得ていますが、今後も引き続き国内外の大学や政府機関、医療機関等との共同・委託試験等を進めてエビデンスを蓄積し、病医院への販路を拡大していきたい、としています。

【１３】抗がん剤か、クリスマスツリーか
「ヤドリギ」（mistletoe）をご存知ですか。松やモミの木などに寄生している（宿る）ため、そう呼ばれるハーブです。「ある樹木に寄生して成長する」という様子が、「ヒトに発生して増殖する」がんに似ているため、がん治療に用いられるようになったとか。
日本ではなじみが薄いのですが、欧州、特にドイツではがんに対して汎用される成分です。
ヤドリギの有用性についてはかねてから賛否両論がありますが、昨年末以降、英国の学術誌BMJとそのウェブサイトで、またまたホットな論争が繰り広げられるようになりました。
補完代替医療の研究者として著名なエルンスト教授（英国）は、ヤドリギは広く研究されているものの、信頼できる比較試験では効果が明らかでないことや、有害性を示唆する報告があることから「抗がん剤としてではなく、クリスマスツリーに使うことを勧める」と手厳しい意見を述べています。
その一方、「副作用は通常軽度で、減らすかやめれば回復可能なもの」「イスカドール（ヤドリギの代表的な製品名）はポピュラーであり続ける」と擁護する意見も。さらには「医師から『400人を超える患者にヤドリギを使ったが重い副作用はなかった』と聞いたが、（これから使う）他の患者に重い副作用が出ないとは言えない」とする患者の声も寄せられています。

The company plans to publish the revised second edition of the academic paper collection "BioBran/MGN-3: Basic and Applications to Alternative and Complementary Therapies" (Iyaku Shuppan), which was published last year on rice bran arabinoxylane derivatives, in March. (The price is 5,250 yen including tax)
This collection is the culmination of evidence accumulated over more than ten years, and because the first edition was more popular than expected, there has been a rush to reprint it, leading to its current publication.
Our main product, Bio Brann (rice bran arabinoxylane derivative, brand name 'Lentin Plus'), has maintained strong popularity both domestically and internationally, but it is especially popular overseas, with sales already available in 39 countries. This is also influenced by the fact that it is a reliable product with patented manufacturing methods in nine countries worldwide, including Japan, the United States, and the EU.

[13] Chemotherapy or Christmas Tree?
Are you familiar with mistletoe? It is called that herb because it parasitizes (inhabits) pine and fir trees. Its appearance of 'parasitizing and growing on a certain tree' resembles cancer that occurs and proliferates in humans, which is why it came to be used in cancer treatment.
Although it is not very familiar in Japan, it is a commonly used ingredient for cancer in Europe, especially Germany.
There has long been debate about the usefulness of mistletoe, but since the end of last year, heated debates have once again been brewing on the British academic journal BMJ and its website.
Professor Ernst (UK), a renowned researcher in complementary and alternative medicine, has issued a harsh opinion, stating that although mistletoe is widely studied, reliable comparative trials have not shown clear efficacy and reports suggest harm, recommending its use on Christmas trees rather than as an anticancer drug.
On the other hand, some defend the topic, saying, "Side effects are usually mild and can be reversed if reduced or stopped," and "Iscador (the representative product name for mistletoe) will remain popular." Furthermore, some patients have shared their feedback saying, "We heard from doctors that mistletoe was used on over 400 patients without severe side effects, but it cannot be said that other patients who will use it in the future will not experience severe side effects."
