It's almost influenza season. In contrast to last year's chaos, vaccinations this season seem to be being administered with plenty of time. That said, for people with weaker immunity, it's still a life-threatening illness.

If you experience symptoms that may indicate influenza, such as sudden high fever or joint pain, visit a medical facility promptly for testing, and use antiviral medication promptly (within 48 hours of onset). In addition to 'Tamiflu' and 'Relenza,' 'Lapiakta' was released this January, and 'Inavir' was released on October 19. These are prescribed at hospitals and clinics, and there are differences in oral medication, intravenous medication, inhalers, and the number of treatment sessions.

Consult your doctor about which is appropriate depending on severity and age.

When it comes to prevention, the flu vaccine comes first, but for the elderly, there is another vaccine to consider. The "pneumococcal vaccine." This is because people with the flu can die from pneumonia caused by another bacterium (pneumococcus).

It goes without saying that regular health management is necessary.

These include gargling and handwashing, practicing cough etiquette, and avoiding crowds. Skillfully incorporating evidence-based functional foods like rice bran or arabinoxylan (Bio Bran) to boost immunity is also a promising method.

The hard fruit inside the fruit wrapped in sweet potato is edible, containing carbohydrates, potassium, vitamin B1, fat, and surprisingly rich in vitamin C. Another noteworthy item is tannins. Tannins are a type of bitter compound found in the astringent skin and have very strong antioxidant properties, believed to help with anti-aging and cancer prevention.
