What is the Optimal Room Temperature to Maintain Concentration in the Elderly?
Room temperature may have a direct impact on the brain health of elderly people. According to a new study by Amir Baniassadi and colleagues at the Marcus Aging Research Institute in the U.S., the temperature at which people aged 65 and older are least likely to report "difficulty maintaining concentration" is 20–24°C. The details of this study were published on December 3 in The Journals of Gerontology: Series A.
